Amber and Zach on Block
Jen's gone and the HouseGuests are still commenting on how quiet life is now in the BIG BROTHER 8 house. The blondes have ruled the HoH competition of late as Jessica claims her second HoH title. Eric is stoked his partner is in power and works his America's Player task into her nomination choices, smiling as Amber and Zach are put on the block. The luxury competition provides a short-lived chance for the HouseGuests to get back to nature before the girls claim their prize of a two-minute shopping spree through racks of clothing.

House Overview
The bitterness exhibited during Jen's departure lives on after the door closes behind her. Dick hides none of his disdain for his former housemate, celebrating, "It's about time! There's a cancer in this house that's been cut out. Now we can move on." Dick's daughter Daniele has no regrets over sending Jen home, but she does regret hugging her goodbye. "She is one of a kind, and that kind I hope I never, ever encounter again." Eric tells Jen the HouseGuests are just as happy to see her go as she is to leave. Later Eric reveals he simply verbalized what everyone was thinking. As Jen exits, Amber calls after her to not forget to tell Dustin her message. Jen reminds Amber to tell Jess her message too. Then Jen departs, leaving Jessica on edge, wondering what she is to be told. Jameka is ecstatic to have survived the vote, as is Amber, who reveals, "[Jameka's] my closest friend in the house…and we can depend on each other for support." The HouseGuests watch as Jen's photo on the memory board turns grey, prompting Dick to applaud, "She said it would look better in black and white, and she was right."

Whatever Floats Your Boat
Jessica's repeat HoH reign leaves Eric and Dick feeling fantastic. Eric predicts Jess and he will make it to the final four while Dick loves the feeling of safety this week with his ally in power. Having flown so long under the radar, Zach predicts another safe week for himself. "I'm not a threat at this point," he reminds us. Jessica gives an early sign as to her nomination choices during a quiet conversation with Eric. Amber is in her sights, but Eric advises Jess to take the night off before she decides anything. Elsewhere in the house, Amber drops in on Jameka asking her who Jessica might nominate. Amber puts her own case forward, promising if she can remain in the house she can win HoH next week and keep the two women in the game. "My instinct makes me think [Jess] won't put me on the block," Amber says, hoping instead the HoH targets Dick and Daniele. Jameka and Amber pray, professing their love and devotion to their spiritual guide.

So, About that Kiss...
Eric comes up with an interesting question. He asks Jessica: if she won 30 minutes of camera-free time with Eric, how would she use the time? He gives her the options of speaking strategy, ripping each other's clothes off and indulging in a passionate interlude, or sitting awkwardly for 25 minutes and getting the courage to share their first kiss in the final five minutes. Jessica blushes and offers that they already talk strategy openly, so the first option isn't a winner. But, she adds, the second option of getting down with each other sounds perfect. Eric is chuffed and when she asks him his answer, he admits it would probably involve 25 minutes of awkwardness before the actual kiss occurred. Jessica laughs, disappointed at his lack of courage. In the diary room, Eric reveals, "I have no game whatsoever as it relates to women… It just so happens when in comparison to an ogre and a 44-year-old pervert, frankly I'm the best thing that's remaining here and it's working for me," he smiles cheekily. Jessica halts the scenario in its tracks, reminding him the cameras will never be turned off them, so the conversation is a moot point. Eric then asks if they can discuss on camera options as he's ready for some fun.

Jess's HoH room reveal provides entertainment for the afternoon. Jessica loves her room, laughing, "All the guys loved the picture of me and the dance team." Dick's mood when seeing the picture is less complimentary as he comments, "Those outfits are horrible." Jessica gives him a withering look. The discovery of a t-shirt with Jess's favorite saying on it makes her day. "There it is: 'Booyah,' right on the t-shirt," Eric laughs as Jess claps, "I love it all."
