Eric schemes to get Jessica off the block

Janelle makes a special appearance during the PoV competition

Daniele wins PoV but doesn’t choose to use it

No PoV Reprieve

Daniele Doesn't Use Veto
Something is afoot in the BIG BROTHER 8 house and not many people are sensing the approaching danger. Eric says he is confident in his deal with Dick and Daniele, while the father-daughter team contemplates turning on the deal and evicting Jessica. Jessica and Jameka are on the block campaigning to stay, but when Daniele wins the PoV and then refuses to use it, both nominees expect the worst come Thursday's live eviction vote.

Zach is settling into controlling power in the house as he brags, "I am judge, jury and prosecutor to each of the [nominees]." Jameka, on the block for the second time, thinks Zach should have put up Dick and Daniele as it would have made more sense strategically. She ponders the possibility that Zach has some kind of deal with Dick and Dani. Eric is still glum over having his sweetheart Jessica nominated, admitting she wouldn't be in her precarious situation if she hadn't listened to him last week.

Fallout
The nominees take some time away from their housemates to discuss their plight. Jameka feels insulted by Zach's explanation as to why he nominated her. "That speech, give me a break," Jameka snarls. Jess admits the one thing she really hates is that she may be evicted by Zach, a player she doesn't really have much respect for. Trying to motivate them and keep their spirits up, Jameka says they have to fight for the PoV, as winning that will save one of them. Jessica mulls over her perfect scenario: Eric winning the PoV and removing her from the block as then both of them would be safe.

Meanwhile, Daniele heads upstairs to see her new friend Zach. As he opens the door, Daniele laughs, "Oh for the love of God, [Jess's] so pissed." Zach tells Daniele that Jessica hasn't come to him to ask for his support in staying in the house. That leads Daniele to snipe, "She always lets Eric do the talking for her." They agree the PoV will be interesting tomorrow as both the nominees and Eric will be seriously fighting for it.

Feeling Guilty
Back downstairs, Eric unloads his guilt on Jameka as they sit outside. He admits he "feels a lot of responsibility for [Jess's] nomination." He is taking the situation hard, admitting in an emotional voice, "Everything I do is wrong all the time." His voice cracks again as he reveals that more than the game is at stake for him here, his entire relationship with Jessica could be at risk if she were to be evicted. Eric moans, "I feel like such a heel and a useless piece of crap." Ever the counselor, Jameka sweetly reassures him the situation is not totally dire as the PoV might give them the opportunity to change things. Eric takes her kind words and keeps his hopes intact.

No Love Lost
Later when everyone is at dinner, Jessica entertains the group by telling a story about a time when she was at the Girl Scout Convention and she had to go on stage. When the interviewer on stage asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, Jessica reported proudly she wanted to be the first female president of the United States, or a waitress. Breaking in laughter Dick mimics her, saying, "Yeah I wanna be the president or a stripper." Daniele, who is a waitress for a living, takes his joke personally, pointing out being a waitress isn't the same as being a stripper. Dick says he didn't mean it like that but Dani gives him attitude. Dick cuts her short, snapping, "Just drop it please." In the diary room Daniele claims her father is just annoyed as she is the only one that calls him out on being a jerk about things. Dick, on the other hand, is sick and tried of his daughter's lack of patience where he is concerned. The tension continues to plague the pair when Dick seeks Daniele out in her room. He asks her why she is being so short and rude towards him lately and Dani ignores him. Dick persists, asking her to be an adult and talk to him. She snaps at him, leaving Dick at his wit's end. "I can't stand the way she talks to me," Dick reveals in the diary room. Back outside, he looks to the skies and yells, "Why don't you put me in here with one of my ex-wives?" Dick is having a tough time with his daughter but knows he must persevere, repeating his new mantra, "Patience, patience, patience."
